Who We Are

We are an aunt-and-nephew duo — Pooja Gaurav Jain, the Founder, and Tanmay Shah, the Co-Founder.

Pooja is based in Surat, while Tanmay comes from Dahod, Gujarat. For many years, Pooja had a dream of starting something of her own in the food business — a place where people could enjoy fresh, hygienic and comforting food in a warm, welcoming environment.

That dream became Ramashray South Kitchen.

Today, Pooja leads and manages the café and is closely involved in everything we do, while Tanmay supports the business as its Co-Founder. Together, we are building Ramashray as a small, honest and home-grown food venture.

We believe that less is more.

We don't believe in serving hundreds of dishes just for the sake of having a big menu. Instead, we keep our selection focused and put our energy into making every dish fresh, hygienic and full of flavour.

From our dosas and idlis to our filter coffee and South Indian favourites, our goal is simple — serve food that we would be happy to serve to our own family.

Ramashray is our attempt to create a place where good food, family and warmth come together.
